Singers Nathaniel Bassey, Jumbo Aniebeit to perform in trump's inauguration

Excitement is sweeping through the Nigerian gospel music scene as esteemed artist Jumbo Aniebeit readies himself to perform at inauguration events for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. This development follows pastor and gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey’s recent invitation to lead at Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, which will take place on January 20, 2025.

Led by Reverend Merrie Turner, the prayer breakfast is a non-partisan gathering set to take place before the swearing-in of Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

Jumbo Aniebeit will be featured at two prominent events: the World Leaders Peace and Harmony Inaugural Ball and the U.S. African and Caribbean Economic and Sustainable Development Summit, on January 20 and 21. Organized by the African and Caribbean International Leadership Conference, these events celebrate Trump’s presidency and are scheduled to take place at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
