Afrobeats, Asake's admirers have expressed amazement at his new appearance. A number of fans took to social media to share their shock, with some criticizing his new look as uncomfortable.

Asake introduced his updated style, over the weekend, highlighting a shorter hairstyle that is a departure from his trademark dreadlocks.
