In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Igboegwu expressed disappointment over what he referred to as “fake love” in Nollywood, stating he would distance himself from colleagues he sees as betrayers.
"Let’s ease up on the fake love in Nollywood,” he wrote. “One moment, you’re saying terrible things about someone, and the next, you’re posting and celebrating them.”
He further condemned the actions, remarking, “This is outright witchcraft. Show genuine intentions toward people. Fake love is deadlier than poison. If you can’t speak well of someone, then don’t say anything.”
