Igboho, through his spokesperson Olayomi Koiki, expressed his warmest prayers for a year of prosperity and happiness for all.
He reaffirming the ongoing fight for the formation of a Yoruba Nation (Odua Nation), Igboho used this moment to remind the Yoruba people that their pursuit of self-determination is steadfast and cannot be compromised.
He emphasized the shared dedication to attaining freedom and called on everyone to get ready for peaceful rallies and protests aimed at promoting the cause of Yoruba sovereignty.
"Our rallying cry is unmistakable: 'No going back.' This is the time for unity, boldness, and concentration. We are unwavering in our mission, and we urge all Yoruba sons and daughters to stay prepared for what is to come," Igboho expressed.
"Peaceful marches and gatherings will continue to reinforce our right to self-determination. Be fearless—this movement is destined to bring the change we all long for."
Igboho emphasized the need for strong solidarity among the people, urging them to remain watchful, proactive, and determined in their commitment to the cause.
"Now is not the time for second thoughts. We must stand tall, organize, and push forward together. The path may be tough, but our goal is clear, and our success is inevitable," he added.
During his New Year statement, Igboho assured the people that the goal of a self-governing Yoruba Nation would soon be realized.
"Wishing the Yoruba people worldwide a new year filled with happiness, peace, and fulfillment. Your relentless dedication to the struggle for self-determination and the formation of our nation is sincerely appreciated."
