Citing a lack of faith in women's capacity for sincere love and loyalty, the 'Secure The Bag' singer revealed his history of avoiding relationships.
His stance was that he'd consider love if he found someone loyal, but he considered the odds of such a perfect relationship to be slim.
While stating he doesn't believe in love, the rapper conceded that his views are subject to change.
Jeriq told Glich Africa during an interview, 'I've been single my entire life.'
He clarified, 'Love exists in different forms, like the love for family and friends. But romantic love between a man and a woman? I don't believe that's real.'
His reasoning was, 'I find it hard to believe a woman can be truly faithful to me alone. I don't see that as a possibility. Yet, if I encountered a woman who is loyal and honest, I would be willing to love her in return.'
He concluded, 'But I know that's not possible. So, I don't believe in love. I'm still young, though, so we'll see how things change.'
