Burna Boy had committed to providing $30,000 to a phone repairer who had previously made headlines for asserting he was in financial difficulty, despite being supposedly linked to the lavish socialite. This happened during a digital feud with Cubana Chief Priest.
On Saturday, Lucky Uduh, a popular content creator, released a video indicating that Burna Boy fulfilled his pledge by providing the money to the alleged kin of Cubana Chief Priest.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Cubana Chief Priest responded by refuting claims that the recipient of Burna Boy’s act of kindness is his brother. He explained that he has just one biological brother and two sisters, all of whom are in good standing, and noted that he is not obligated to support them.
He stated:
“Supposed brother! These skit creators are just oppressive manipulators. They’ve already brought him to his knees, and they’ll still push him further down because everyone must feel the heat. But for me, there’s no notification or cash in sight. I just want to confirm that my village boy really received the money. It’s still part of my shining glory. Let’s see some evidence; as a musician, you could even give him a verse. I only have one biological elder brother and two younger sisters, and they’re not doing badly at all.”
