2025 NAACP: Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems nominated for Awards
Afrobeats music icons Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have received nominations for the 2025 NAACP Awards. Furthermore, Nigerian actress Ayo Edebiri has been acknowledged, earning several nominations.
The 56th Annual NAACP Awards will be hosted on February 22 at the Pasadena Civic Center in California.
Wizkid earned two nods for his song "Piece of My Heart" featuring Brent Faiyaz, in the categories of Outstanding Duo or Collaboration and Outstanding International Song.
Burna Boy and Usher are in the running for Best Collaboration with their song "Coming Home," while Tems received a nomination for Outstanding International Song for her hit "Love Me JeJe."
Actress Ayo Edebiri earned five nominations, including Outstanding Voiceover and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.
